Josh Kumra Minety Festival 25.jpeg

Josh Kumra

Josh, a UK-based singer, songwriter, and producer, is known for his raspy voice, emotive songwriting, and captivating live performances. Inspired by his father’s record collection of legends like Bob Dylan and John Lennon, he started jamming at age 5 and began writing songs at 13.

His heartfelt music has taken him to the top of the UK charts, onto ‘Later… with Jools Holland,’ and across Europe, supporting acts like Lianne La Havas and OneRepublic. Now, he’s refining his craft in the studio, with new music set for release early this year.

In just a few short years, this five-piece has built a loyal fanbase that's catapulted them to the dizzying heights of the UK indie music scene. From smashing their debut at top festivals like The Great Escape, Isle of Wight, Y Not, Truck, Splendour, Tramlines and Lakefest to tearing up sold-out nationwide tours and scoring main support slots with the likes of The Kaiser Chiefs, UB40, Reverend & The Makers, The Rifles, and more. The word on the street – from press, promoters, radio, and more – is that these lads are the ones to watch.

Formed in their pre-teens, multi-instrumentalist brothers Tyler (LV) and Dion Heaney (Drums) alongside their cousin Luke (Bass), started making waves around the local Nottingham scene. After years as a tight-knit family three-piece, the St. Ann’s boys expanded their sound by bringing in soon-to-be co-writer James on keys/synth. The lineup was finally complete when longtime mate Will joined on guitar. These Nottingham lads have cooked up a sound that's unmistakably theirs and undeniably catchy.

Drawing inspiration from The Specials to The Beatles, The Chase are a melting pot of musical goodness. But it's during their live shows where they truly shine. Whether it’s a 100-cap venue or the likes of Bridlington Spa, Shepherd's Bush, or a festival main stage, one thing's for sure – THE. PARTY. DOESN'T. STOP. Expect catchy melodies, infectious vibes, and maybe even a cheeky performance on a bin (long story).

Ritual Divide Logo Minety Music Festival 2025.jpeg

Ritual Divide are an alternative rock band from Swindon – Progressive-Grunge / Neo-goth / melodic rock.

Hot on the tail of their “thrilling” debut single ‘Gold’, Wiltshire-based alt-rock band Wild Isles is amping up to release their second crowd-pleaser, ‘Stand In Silence’.

Hitting Spotify on 1 August 2024, ‘Stand in Silence’ is packed with a plethora of electrifying and polished riffs as the recently formed five-piece - Tom ‘Macca’ McCarthy (lead vocals), DJ Harman (lead guitarist), Ant Willis (guitarist), James Rowland (bass), and Kyle Foote (drums) - provides an anthemic remedy to life’s hardships.

Underpinned by politically driven and environmentally conscious motifs, ‘Stand In Silence’ offers up high-energy guitar riffs that will both excite and captivate listeners. Exploring a state of social unrest felt in today’s social climate, the band’s lyrics are oWen raw and ominously delivered but the song itself is ultimately tempered by hope for impending change as the chorus belts out “It’s
alright, don’t listen, cause change is on the way”. Lyrically catchy and instrumentally invigorating, Wild Isles offers a riotous feel-good escapist track that ignites a sense of
camaraderie, optimism, and pure sonic elation.

With a radio play on Keep It Rock and rave reviews for their debut single ‘Gold’ already under their belt, Wild Isles’ second single is set to raise the bar even higher. Having already offered a taste of ‘Stand in Silence’ to enthralled live audiences, accompanied by a strong
setlist of original titles, exciting change is very much on the way for Wild Isles. For fans of Mallory Knox, Young Guns, and Nothing But Thieves, this is a band to watch!

With one foot in the grunge era, another in modern musical times, another in the realms of classic rock and yet another in more pop-aware, college rock territory. It is no wonder that I See Orange makes such a deft and ornate sound. The music may be heavy, but it always retains sight of the fact that the best songs should balance groove with grind, grit with grace, and power with poise.

The UKs first Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac homage. Combining two of the most recognisable bands of the 70s and 80s.

Two Pounds Down Minety Music Festival 2025.jpeg
For those of you (only around 30 people) that stayed up late at last year's event and caught Two Pounds Down on the Kandu Arts stage, you were lucky enough to witness something very special; so much so that we couldn't resist inviting them back to play on the Eames Lauire Main Stage.

Two Pounds Down‘s story starts way back, with childhood best friends Jesse (keys) and James (guitar) destined to make music together. Originally from Malvern, Worcestershire, this group of rising stars have been iinvolved in music since they were young.. Brothers Ethan (bass) and Jesse have dreamed of playing in a band together since they were little. Soon after, Gabe (drums) arrived, solidifying the band’s full sound.

Within a year of hitting the stage, their talent was undeniable. They conquered the AMPED battle of the bands in May 2023, earning them a coveted spot on the Lakefest Main Stage in August that same year. This meteoric rise is a testament to their undeniable chemistry. The unpredictability mixed with confidence is how Two Pounds Down catch the attention of those who listen. On stage, they fill venues with contagious energy, their obvious enjoyment for what they do making them an exciting watch.

Two Pounds Down‘s sound is a unique fusion, blending blues rock with modern jazz to create a truly original experience. Their music wavers from heavy rock riffs to technical polyrhythms, ensuring a live show that’s anything but ordinary. Seeing them return to Minety Music Festival in 20254 is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Get ready for an electrifying set that will have you moving and grooving long after the last note fades.

SN Dub Station Minety Music Festival 2025.png
Swindon's very own SN Dubstation gained a wide reputation as top entertainers and are no strangers to festival stages. They headlined the Swindon Shuffle in 2015, 2016 and 2018, and a large number of UK festivals
across the country, culminating in a performance at the iconic Boomtown Fair in 2018 as well as multiple other appearances across the festival scene.

In 2019, much to the dismay of their followers, they decided to move on to other things, but after a break of around 5 years, the much loved Swindon Festival "My Dad's Bigger Than Your Dad", managed to persuade them to get back onto the stage and we're delighted that they did.

SN Dubstation are a Reggae + Ska band. Providing melodic horns, fatty basslines and mentalist performances and we're delighted to welcome them to Minety Music Festival 2025. If you’re a fan of reggae, dub, ska, or just great vibes, then this now 7 piece party machine is guaranteed to get you on your feet.

Their fun and flavour filled west country take on ska and reggae. These local Swindon boys’ musical souls hail from somewhere a long way away. We are not talking London here, we’re talking Kingston, Jamaica!

We are delighted to welcome 'Warning: A Tribute To Green Day' as one of the UK's finest tributes to Billie Joe Armstrong and the Californian rockers.

You can expect a high energy whirlwind tour through all the hits, from their inception in 1987, through the Dookie years, American Idiot era, and beyond.

Hold my beer... this is going to get sweaty!
